Oh wow... this painting is incredible. How on earth did you manage to get all those lights looking so real. This is my new favourite.

These night lights are really great...especially that green glow.  I noticed it in your flatiron building painting too.  Very nice work! :)

Susie, I saw your post.  I pushed Barb to take Jo's course.  I did his whole "Painting Stunning Landscapes from Photographs" about 4 months ago; I missed it online, but bought the course from NorthLight.  The course is fabulous but it's about 60 hours long although at a bargain price.  I have since done his next two courses, "Essentials of Painting Buildings" and "Essentials of Painting Mountains" online and I am currently doing the "Essentials of Painting Trees" course.  I could not recommend it more strongly; he is a fabulous teacher and his teaching methods using Photoshop and video demos are terrific, very much like Richard's teaching.  If you are a Northlight VIP member you can get the first 2 lessons (about 10 hours) free; if not, its only $9.99 with 10% off through his website.  I hope it's not too obvious that I am a big fan.  By the way, I painted this painting and all the ones I posted except my 2 workshop paintings before I took any of his courses, so don't get your hopes up too much.   Stu
