Ians comments are spot on, just a few brush strokes to form some irregular shapes will domit. Love the use of greys to bring out the glowing trees.

Gorgeous painting, Diane; such majestic scenery! I love the contrast of the warm trees against the cool mountains.  I wonder if you changed the shape of the edge of the tree in the immediate foreground beside the water, to show a bit more of the continuation of the water, maybe also showing a little more here & there behind those 4 or 5 trees, if it might add something?  Really not sure about it; just a thought!

Thank you Ian Yes I am not happy with the Yellow!!!! trees shape or colour I have already darkend some sides of the fore ground ones Will continue to look and see how I can give them even more form. Thank you this is exactly why I posted it now for feedback of suggestions
