very attractive and artistic. I love it.
Thank you Karlo and Michael for taking the time to help me with this painting. I am most appreciative I cant wait for another oportunity to attack it with your very sound advice. As for the mountain on the right It was in the photo reference but I have never liked it so I am thinking I will use artistic licence and remove it.Also fell some trees!! It will be fun.
maybe some stronger (darker) shadows also bellow trees in front
Diane, I would suggest that you rethink that jagged mountain on the right ... it is very much distracting ....Suggest you either take it out, or make it less obvious.
Diane, your sky and mountains are very well painted. Suggest you remove that bit of land jutting out ....also...and this is for everyone .... refrain from lining all of your trees on the same spacial plane. Diane, cut back into some of those background trees with your ground color .. avoid a straight line of trees. Also, try to avoid irregular shapes and sharp edges at the periphery of your painting ..... those kind of things draw the eye right there!
the mountains and sky and green trees looks so beautiful and defined, that now I miss more of that in front line of trees and front plan of water ..
Beautiful trees & beautiful painting!
