Elena, This is one of your best works and my most favourable one. I agree with all those compliments here. You captured the whole scene beautifully!!
Thanks! I did smal corrections and posted as a new one
beautiful, nice perspective sky clouds, rain, colors, but the sun is too "dome shaped". Maybe you can soften edges a little and would be spectacular!
Thank you, Elena! (In fact, I remember this point in one of Richard's videos...)
By the way, I am in Dresden, Germany until the end of the month... not so far from The Netherlands. I love Europe -- wish I could stay forever.
Thanks!
Jim, just keep using thing first layers and thicker next ones and use brush almost parallel to the canvas. All this goes easier when using liquin as a medium. And... I did a little glazing next day, mainly by transparent white/liquin mixture :).
Beautiful, beautiful, Elena!!! A wonderful job with the color gradations.
Great colors and a nice looseness in this -- yet keeping the detail. How did you get such clean colors doing wet on wet? (I watch Richard do this, and it's like dit, dit, dab, dab and the color is great. When I put down a high-light on the wet stuff, it goes, mmmmmmlllllllaaaaaaaaahhhhhh and just disappears.)
love it Elena, especially the clouds the sky colour is superb!
Gorgeous painting!
