A favorite restaurant for the tomato soup and bread.  Well done.

Thanks Ann and Joy.  I love the feedback.  It is amazing how one misses and overlooks these simple and obvious things. These paintings are practice paintings, done in 2-3 hours on a 5x7" panels.  Once done I rarely go back to adjust, but the feedback I get keeps me on my toes and prepares me for the next time.  So keep on giving me your feedback… :)

Great interplay of shadow and light ! Interesting angle so we aren't faced with straight on blocks. I like the hidden figures just peeking out like a little treasure.

Very nice Faisal.  I love the shadow patterns and negative shapes!!  The green/red color harmony unifies the painting nicely.  The umbrellas ....Faisal, try to avoid the "sameness" of things ..even if they are the same...no two intervals alike.    Maybe one of the umbrellas on the left could overlap each other ...one of them throwing a shadow upon the other.  Maybe the umbrella by the door could be closed ...OR ...a different color. ..Or ..Maybe one of them could be tilted at a different angle? ....To make matter worse ..you have the half umbrella way over there on the right ...giving you an even number of umbrellas ..all red and all with the same angle of tilt.  Maybe on of the umbrellas can be turned so the logo would be not in the center ...something different then the rest ..maybe one could be turned so that the size of the panels would be different ..if you turned an umbrella just the right way, you could see a fourth panel ...we are just looking for ways to make these regular intervals ..irregular.

Like the shapes - I'm really interested in pictures with a 'geometrical' composition
