Oil on canvas panel 9" by 12" plein air. Nice cloud patterns above the Golden Gate 2 days ago. The next storm came in last night. This was painted between 4:30 and 6:00 PM and the color is from a fairly low sun. Lots of glare on the water and fog coming in over the Marin Headlands. The North tower of the Golden Gate Bridge is just visible. Those sailboats have another hour before sunset but there wasn't much wind. I loved the diagonal patterns in the wispy clouds and the simplicity of the shapes I saw.
