Thanks Michael.  I had 8 private lessons in 2012 from Gwen Gutwein in Fort Wayne, IN when we were camping near family for 2 months.  She led me step by step. I could have benefited even more if I knew what I know now.  She was great.  Wish I could find an instructor in the Vegas area or closer or a workshop. Tomorrow I'm going to paint at a little craft store just for the opportunity to paint with someone.  However the instructor teaches a more tight approach...blending, etc., not creative compositions, more like my very first teacher.  But at least I'll get to paint with somebody.

This is my favorite of yours Linda.   Great design and abstract shapes.  When I squint, I see a 4 value shapes ..well designed.!!  Your tree leans in ..good!  Great painting....one of your best.

My son lives in Oregon and I have visited this spot. Your energetic painting echos the movement and  sound of the waterfall.
