Yes Susan, Croatia is nice small Country with lot of variety to paint, also Italy (Venice) is not far from here, It could be nice journey. When you come let me know if I can be of any help. I was once visiting your Big country (Australia)

and love this big sky (it can sound strange but I felt that your sky is bigger than here, and beutiful nature with animals (I was walking and in front of me groups of kangurus jumping...and birds ..and then Ocean with waves and wind ..and aromas ..I could write a long story...about incredible nice people also...i will try to make one album with photos then post it

Like the painting it has that classic feel I see in paintings from the 1700-1800's paintings, just missing the old cracked paint from age.
