oil on canvas 9 x 12", This is my revised alla prima painting. I know it looks nothing like my other 2, but I wasn't very happy with those...this one, I am happy with.

Very nice Sharon.  Lovely sky. I like the soft glowing edges and the forground weed type foliage.  I think the Elk's rump is a little to large. Other than that it is really pretty!

I added an elk in the painting...looking toward the sunset/sunrise so  you can tell the difference in this one and the first one.  I like the elk there, darkened the bushes/trees on the left like Michael suggested.  They are closer to the viewer and not far away like the distance grassy plains.  I didn't want them as dark as the distant mountain on the right.
