Revised painting after comments by Michael Severin and multiple others. I have strengthened the figures and taken out the distracting seagulls and swimmers. Oil on textured panel, 11" by 14"

Thanks Betsy. Look over some of the posts on the paintings and you will see that even the more experienced artists on this site are asking for and accepting help from other artists. That is what is so great about the site. Sto

Yes, I think they are praying for me or any new painter who want to paint as well as of this painting. Smiles... I got JV's seascape course. But have not watch them yet.  Good idea. I will watch them this morning and then go to paint with new ideas. In fact, I should paint more water and waves or no teacher can help me. Practise make progress.

Li, I doubt they are praying unless they are praying for big waves so that they can go surfing. Thanks for the compliment. Did you get Johannes seascape course? With his help, you too, can paint lovely seascapes. Stu

Sturt, I am working on my workshop19 now. I have a lot of difficulties about the waves and shallow water. When I see this beautifully and skillfuly done painting and the water and waves are so real, I admire you more than any time.  Don't You  think your boys are praying? smiling...

Probably what several guys this age anywhere would discuss: girls, cars or sports. Stu

Stu I really love this painting... somehow I must have missed it but I am very curious to know what they were discussing while strolling down the beach.
