Continuing my facination with buildings in Reykjavík. I found this scene I thought was pretty interesting. Mostly because it is not very interesting. There is not much depth or perspective and there is a big flat surface. I thought I would try and see if and how I could make this simple scene interesting with varying color temperatures, textures and edges.

Yes I really wanted to see if I could make it at least a little bit interesting. I think I succeeded in some ways, but it was a bit unsatisfying to finish it compared to finishing a better painting :)

Its all about the red door, nice use of subtle colors. I am also enjoying the reflected light in glass surfaces
