oil on 12x12" canvas board
After finishing the first one that took me hours and hours, I decided to try it the way Richard did...finish the second in just one hour. It was quite a challenge hearing the timer ticking away, but actually really fun. I may try that again.

Thanks, Nancy. Everybody has a moment. The most important is to keep on improving. Eager to know what is the challenge for the new workshop though I can not do it. Good luck to you.
Nancy, this is very beautiful though your mountain at the right side is bluer than mine. Why we like this saturate colour? I don't know. Michael suggest me to grey it down a bit to make it more natural looking. By the way, your detailed texture of the rocks and grass are very convincing and natural. Wonderful work!!!
Yes! Sometimes in not too good to think but to let everything flow to see what comes out! Easier said than done though....
Nicely painted. I like the simplicity of this one. :)
Just great!!
I like the strokes that made up your rocks. Like the orange /ochre green blue to the right. Like the slight light path next to the big pines leading me to the back even further. It's not busy. It's straight to the point. Like the looseness of your creativity expression on canvass. Thank you for posting. I like it.
Spontaneous and energetic brushwork
