11x14 oil I added dark water and reflections. Then I added warm highlights all over to strengthen the lighter values. I made the small bridge on the right more evident and added a soft rock to the left to add a level between the dark red wood trees. The color is more accurate then post 1

Thank you Cristina, I am enjoying getting to know you through your lovely paintings. Welcome to Richards site.
So beautifully done Ann, love the reflections, great values and colors!
Thanks Dor ! You are always such a great friend and cheer leader. Thank you for noticing my painting and for the encouragement. I'm trying to learn water but its tricky I always admire Michael S's water
Hi Ann - actually, I didn't notice any problem with the reflections! I was meaning the front pole supporting the pagoda! Sorry, guess I didn't explain well!
Thank you so much Michael, you are a great teacher and I appreciate your help ! !
Thanks Jessica, the painting does have a little brown reflection of the far pole but it doesn't show up in the photo. It is smeared with the sideways lines that indicate water movement. As I looked at that area, I realized that the far pole reflection comes infront of the rock ! My bad ! Thanks for getting me to look and see that. I deepened all the color as suggested and will paint a larger one for a friend. Version 1 is any earlier post you can check it on my posts if you would like the difference is striking.
This is charming, Ann - lovely soft colours & reflections. Just a tiny thing - I wonder if you should show a little bit more of the pole on the pagoda which is closest to the tree? Or maybe just make that rock a bit bigger which would then hide the place where the pole would be, as it might compete with the tree trunk? But maybe I'm just seeing it wrong! It's a beautiful painting!
Very nice "fix" Ann! The pond now reads more like the placid water it is!!! The reflections are handled very well and the whole relates to the background. The painting now reads front to back ....very good!! Those changes you made with the water, really unified this painting. Your values, color, and edges all share a nice relationship that contributes to this unification.
