Plein air, oil on panel 9" by 12". Painting two days ago up on a high point on a windy day can be challenging. Lots of great clouds, but the 15 to 20 know wind gust (cold, too) kept threatening to knock over my easel, even with my back pack bungeed to it to add weight. I was hanging onto the easel with my left hand and painting with my right. This actually helped speed up the painting (and probably improved it by keeping me from piddling around and overworking it), and I only painted for an hour. Note to self: "Try and find ways to keep moving along quickly in your painting; you will get a better result!!!"

Thanks Jessica; it was really pretty windy that day, but I had already started painting when the strong gusts came up, so I was compelled to finish up quickly!

Really good atmosphere - looks like a blustery day!  Beautiful!
