Amazing light and colour George!
Love your colours!
Thanks Dor, I made this after few photo images after my trip to Italy. A composition.
By George, I am in movie theater wondering if this was filmed on location or or in a studio.
Smiles to you..........:-)
Thanks very much Lori. As a matter of facts, sky is the first element I usually start with in may landscape paintings. The way the sky is build-up gives the tone and indication about how to finish and give the right mood of a painting. I remember how Micelangelo was inspired by the sky he admred during his searches in the period he was painting the Sistine Chapel. He remained perplexed wandering how sky is able to describe nature.
what wonderful buildings and dramatic sky!! well done George!
Thanks dear Cristina. Ann is right about the water but I stopped correcting my works after deciding to put the signiture on . Always something is not as I want but this is a hint for better in the next one.
Lots of beautiful details!! Wonderful capture of the light!!
