I am trying to get back into painting and have chosen something from my neighborhood - an autumn scene- I love the abstract patterns in the water, the pop of sienna in the focal tree, the diagonals that move the eye through the scene- I am struggling with whether to crop...I think I like the depth in the current view. First, many thanks to Michael for his kind offer to help me achieve my goals with this painting!..and to my friends here who have been so supportive. This is the first painting I'm attempting since losing my husband to a battle with stomach cancer. It's been a difficult time for me and this marks a beginning step in healing my grief. Hello Lori and of course I'll accept the friend request! I have not been on CA for quite some time, or VAA for that matter, but I am now at least getting back to speed on VAA. I'll have to start posting here again. Let me know what you wanted to know about Photoshop and I'll gladly help. I use it for work alot and it is quite a great tool on many levels.
Hey Lori, yes, I thought, why not ask :-)
Thank you for your lovely comment on my painting A Pond Full of Water Lilies. I really had a lot of fun painting this way......mostly because I was in control of the edges!
