oil on canvas panel 11" by 14". Thought I was done, but needed more atmospheric perspective. Accomplished this with glazing with titanium white, ultramarine blue and dioxazine purple to make background recede further. Too late to fix it anymore; this is it!

Thanks , Stuart. I love it. I am very near the ocean,5minutes driving distance. I took some photos of the waves , beaches and rocks but do not no how to paint them. I will listen to him on 16,June. I appreciate your infor.
Stuart, Tomorrow,JV has class or not? if there is one, is it seascape? Oh, I love to learn how to paint seascape, portrait and flowers. This coming Sunday, what he is going to teach?
Stuart, Thank you for your information. I like your studio, so well organized and practical.Very nice. Do you have enough ventilation there? they said that orderless mineral spirits also is toxico but less. Thank you for taking time to upload this photo and the information of learning. It is good for me to know. I appreciate it. Thank you for your kindness.
Li, Johannes next course will be painting seascapes. Then he is going to do a portrait class and finally, I think, a flowers class. The paintalongs are going to stay. If you paint along in acrylics there will be no smell and not too much mess. If you paint in oils, get some Gamsol from Gamblin for you odorless mineral spirits because it has the least odor. I have been doing the paint alongs with an 11 by 14 inch canvas panel flat on the desk in front of my computer in my art studio under my house. Here is a picture of the space I have. This works very well for me. I use a disposable paper palette for this. Stu
Suart, about JV's Sundays wshps, I have to create a space to do it. Right now, I paint in a seperated room that I rent near our apartment for our storage as my husband do not like me paint home. I do not have computer there. But I am thinking about take my things back home to paint with JV on Sunday . He said he is good in flowers, I like that as I do not know how to paint flowers . Oh, so many things have to learn! Thank you Stuart to remind me. I like you idea about simplificationa d color. Any new approach need time to ajust , sometimes painful beforce we can get used of it. You Will.
Thanks Li. I am into simplification for the next workshop and a little more color. We'll see what the challenge is. I hope you have been doing the JV Paint Along workshops on Sundays; they are great. Stu
