Gum tree_After Magyar
Ilona Magyar is an Australian pastel artist who paints the most beautiful gumtrees. This is based on one of her paintings. I wanted to see if I could achieve what she does using acrylics. I'm pleased with it, but it lacks the drama and energy of the original.

Majestic old gentleman ! Your color harmonies add to the dignity of this painting. I will google IIona to check out her paintings. Yours has a great feeling but of peace and wisdom represented by a gumtree.
