The strong color contrast between mountain and the greens was the main reason to do this study. The greens in the foreground do have a higher saturation that those further back. With regard to just color this is probably my favorite plein air study this year. It's very interesting how much taste can differ... So thanks a lot for your thouhts anyway!

HI Thomas, I like this concept and enjoy the saturation of the houses, however I was thinking, to give this more depth, changing the temperature and lessening the saturation of the green the further back it goes. Just a thought.

Very nice Thomas! ...very effective complimentary color scheme and energetic brushstrokes ..really shows your sense of urgency ..very exciting.  If you took a photo of this, may I suggest that you do a few thumbnails and see if you can  edit out some stuff ...anyway, maybe play around with that and see what you come up with.  :))
