Is it possible to make me a copy and email it   I would  love to have it all in  one place ... I have been  tellin  my painters about him and some of them ...

I copied all his "Thou Shalts" to post by my easel. I have moved into my new studio under my house and I am painting down but still working on shelving and cabinets. When I clean it up a little more I'll send some pictures. If I had not been taking JV's classes, I never would have noticed the too blue sky in your painting. His lessons and homework reviews really have helped me to develop a more critical eye; now I just need to learn how to see this stuff in my own work before I think it's finished. I painted outdoors this past weekend for the first time this year; I didn't do very well--much too complex a scene--I really need to work on simplifying my compositions. Stu

Yep, I've signed up. As long as my paintings keep improving, I'm signing up and will likely buy the videos. Stu

Ok  I  will after I fix the sky , i never  noticed the sky and water  difference until  you  brought it up.  I signed up for the snow and  grass  ,   did you?   Funny I have a snow scene  partly finished  so may leave it until he  does his class.    Barb

Barb, definitely! Just post it on the critiques thread. I think Richard will be shifting back to landscapes for the monthly workshops after this one in April. You should sign up if he does. Stu

Thanks  Stu,

I have been going to paint  this  for several years  just dug it out ...   OK I will gray up the  sky a bit ...  Foggy Washington weather  so it would look normal.     No  I didn't teach them this  theyare  mostly all beginners   so  doing  easy things.  do you thin JV would have time to look at my stuff?

Barb, this is very nice.  Send it to Johannes for a critique.  My only criticism is sky is a little too blue; add a little green or dull it down so it harmoinizes better.  You got a very nice looseness in this painting.  It must be from teaching all your students.   Stu
