Nice work Barbara. I like the way you cropped the original. Looking at the middle boat, the hull is in shadow and in the original painting, it is made of warm and cool grays. In your version, it is painted with white and blue ..I see a little yellow ocher. When you see elements that are colored grays, make that gray ..either warm or cool ..with compliments. You will have to deal with reflected light with any painting ...practice making colorful grays and neutrals. You can use compliments and near compliments, or you can mix a pile of warm and cool gray and mix them into your color ...anyway, practice that a lot .. you will be rewarded with a mastery of grays.
Lovely
