Oil on canvas 40x30 cm
Two years ago I visited Lago di Tenno, North Italy, and came back amused by the beauty of this lake and had to do a painting.

Absolutely correct. I didn't like the round tre either. What funny is the reality was like this. There are many misrakes to learn from. That was my first oil painting ever and i tried to fix some mistakes in the glenorchy workship which you are mote than welcome to criticize. Thanks..

I love scenes such as this ... reminds me of many scenes the French Impressionists liked to paint.  You did a nice job with the broken color on the road and your linear perspective is good.  I would like to address your shapes.  I would like to suggest that you concentrate more on creating interesting, abstract shapes within your composition.  Avoid the round shapes, triangles, and straight lines that dominate your painting.  For instance, break in to that round shape (tree) in the foreground to make a better negative shape with the sky.  Adjust the background mountain so the edge is more irregular (even if it was not that way),  break into those super straight lines of the road and bank edge with lost and found edges, shadows, etc.  Think interesting, abstract shapes ..both positive and negative!!!!
