Thank You Christine.............Laura, I used to use a medium, ..liquin, or galkyd...but now I use just gum turpentine......I start off with thin paint and go thick as I develop the painting .....Cheers....
Thomas, do you use oil or liquin as medium when you paint out?
You've captured that water so beautifully! The rest is great too.
Hi Ann, Ruby,,,Well , thanks....it takes a few paintings to have enough confidence to throw down paint and not be afraid to ruin things!!......But it sure is fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
this is fabulous Thomas- Love your style
I am enjoying the green grey variety of color in your water. I think this type of color that includes warm and cool greys but somehow you have managed to not make mud is one of the hardest things to paint well
Michael.......yes sir...color...and I think we are so much more sensitive to our own paintings........AND....I guess I was wrong on the BOLD BRUSH PREDICTION....Your painting should have been included........and there is hardly any rhyme or reason..... Not worth the time to figure....keep up the good work..bud..!!!!
Silvana ......I do like painting the snow!!!!!
Great abstract shapes Thomas! I took my "Spring on the Stanislaus" off because I could not get my camera to give me accurate color on the photo.
Perhaps.... but for sure not in your paintings!!!!!
