Hi Christine - Thank you.  You are right it is an Arabian mare and foal.  The background could have been better executed, but I guess seeing things like that after thinking the work is finished is how we learn.  Thanks for commenting.

very nice watercolor work. Love that you used the white of the paper for the mare. And your execution of the heads is great! Looks like an Arabian mare and foal...very nicely done!
