Memories of Fishing Trips in Vancouver, WA

9 X 12 oil on linen. We were heading home from a day of fishing and the sky lit up. I snapped this scenery through our windshield, thinking that someday I would like to paint it.

Thank you my friends! Appreciate your input Michael! I paint a lot and feel like I'm improving but hadn't put anything on this site in a long time. I do drop in and see everyone's' work though.

Very nice Linda!  ...  I like your handling of the light on the water .. would like to see that light in the sky that is causing that sunlit glow.    Everything in the path of that glow should have softer edges, lighter in value (something like you did in the foreground by the water ... that is excellent!!!)  The light would "eat" into those edges, values, and color.
