Michael Severin and Me!

My husband and I had the privilege of driving to Sonora, CA to meet Michael. After coffee, peaches from the local fruit stand, and scones...getting acquainted time, he spent the morning looking at my paintings and teaching me in my areas of weaknesses. An amazing painter and teacher. A big bonus was seeing many of his paintings live! It was a happy day. I now have 2 of his paintings in our home. ....Then we drove the 12 hours home! Thank you Michael

You might get more company from other artists friends than you want:))). Everyone... if you ever come to the sky walk over the Grand Canyon, know that I live 1/2 hour away. I would welcome your visit. But you will have to be the one doing the demos!!!

I painted a small demo from one of Linda's photos and painted over one of her plein air pieces ...to demonstrate composition, value, and shape placement. We had a very good time together ..lots of good conversation. Anyone is welcome to come by and say hello if your up this way ...!! So far, I have met Stu, Laura, and Linda!! My shirt ..I LOVE this shirt ..wear it all the time ..got it in Hawaii!
