Mojave Sunrise
oil on canvas, 24" by 36", studio painting. I was driving home from Lone Pine, CA after a 3 day plein air workshop with Frank Serrano and took some photos of the sunrise over the desert. I invented the road and phone poles and a lake (this was near Owens Lake, but I couldn't see it from here. This painting is hanging in the gallery for my open studios event with Marin Open Studios (MOS).
