Morning in Montana de Oro

This is closer to the original. I can't believe it, but I take better photos of paintings (I just found out) with my iPad than with my camera...and with NO EDITING. I am excited! There is such a difference between the two.

Its hard to made a vertical painting make sense with such an awkward dimension. Translucent waters and the deep shadow offset each other perfectly. Values are spot on! well done.

They allowed me to see what was happening in that morning shadow. Besides the setting, what I really loved about this scene...besides its beauty...was the natural composition. It was a no brainier.
