Have a niece visiting from Lake Rotoiti so was inspired to paint this. An attempt at loose brush work with some detail in the kayaks.

I Like the distance you captured with the value changes.  Nice composition, too where you lead the eye into the painting with the kayakers and carry it back to the distant light.

Thank you guys It feels/good to be painting again:Would be nice to be young and fit enough to get in a kayak and enjoy the peace on our many beautiful lakes.
