Thanks Jen. This was another photo from the car painting. Street scenes are my favorite. A lot of riffraff hang around this particular Starbucks; this provides some "local color" in the scenes. Stu

Stu like this one also. You have the eyes drawn in with the way you have painted the different areas, really taking one through to the lone reader. This is really just what it would be like, awaiting the morning and spending time reading paper. Must say this reminds me of trip to UK recently, as in London newspapers lots of write-ups on how the company never pays any tax in UK!  Yet their coffee houses are always very full. I wondered if it was also the free Wi_fi offered, as not sure if I am keen on their coffee. Do like your street scenes.

Catherine, thanks for your like. This is definitely 4th and A in San Rafael. I live in San Rafael and drive by it daily. I caught this scene one morning out my car window while stopped at the light. Since you live close by you may recognize a lot more of my townscapes from Marin. Stu

A lot of great things happening here Stuart. Love the reflection in the window, the sense of the light coming through the trees & the aura of the green light. Good job.

Thank you all for your comments.  This was painted with a reference photo shot from my car.  I drive by this Starbuck's most mornings and had the same vision as Christine expressed of a desire to just sit there and enjoy the new morning.  I guess another name for this painting could be "Hangin' out".  Stu
