Please give me a review/critque of one of first paintings of the California coast.

Thank you for the critique Kim & Cheryl. This was my fourth attempt at watercolor a couple of months ago. I'm working on small pieces to better understand how all this works, composition, drawing etc. Sometimes I just paint, it actually seems to bring out a much looser style and freedom just to let it happen.

Ed, I love your interpretation of the tree. The form of the tree really shows the strength that I would imagine it takes to live on the coast. I love the movement that you captured! Cheryl
