painting challenge ; Morning Walk (P Salmons)

Attempt at painting challenge, trying to work loosely and capture the colours. I would have expected the grasses to be more 'bleached' but the photo showed quite strong colours (on my machine!).

Putting the small bush in on the other side of the fence and then blurred ones on the other side works really well. I never could figure out how to do this and still keep distance so didn't paint any bushes. Thanks for showing me how to do it! Your composition draws my eye around the scene very well. All these talented artists like yourself are sure inspiring and teaching me!
