oil on panel 11" by 14" plein air -- Day 2 AM of Cedarburg Plein Air Festival. Rain gone but very foggy and cold. This 3rd painting in Port Washington harbor. I have to select between this one and the last 2 to submit as my Port Washington painting for the contest. I think the first one with the tugboat and the stormy sky is the strongest.

Ann, I think you are right about the horizontal stripes. Jon, definitely easier and better than being in an office. No pity needed, I am enjoying becoming an "all weather" plein air painter. Stu

This is an interesting subject, I like the touches of red and green that you have used to accent the grey. I think you are right about the boat painting being the stronger one. This one has too many horizontal elements moving in stripes of color across the painting
