Thank you for all you encouraging comments. I watched one of Richard's most recent lessons, and he was talking about not eating your pudding before dinner. I had to laugh because I go for the details of the eyes, and if I can see the person or the animal then I can proceed. I do get all my watercolor glazing done laying in the base colors then start with the stages of layering in the values. The fun part are
all the details at the end so I do save part of the pudding for the end. Just a little humor.
very beautiful Sharon
Lovely depth and design/patterning, good 'edmotion' too!
Thank you for your kind comments. This is a Grey Hound that was rescued, and he has a very nice home. I have been painting a lot of pet portraits and some with their owners. You should see me chasing them around the yard to get a good personality shot. I wore him out and he decided to rest and I was able to get a close up photo of his face. He loves this bed so it was perfect.
Beautiful painting; beautiful dog!
BEAUTIFUL job Sharon!!! So hope this pretty pup doesn't really need to be rescued.
Superb!!
