I've been once to the Grand Canyon and it was barely visible under thick cloud and deep snow! We get snow in the south of England too but in early summer it looks like this...and I love it!

Hello Dor, thank you for your comment. It was a typical English summer's day. Now it is very wet and grey here as we come into autumn...and still beautiful nevertheless.

Hi Dee

I missed seeing this.  I've read that greens are very difficult to work with.  Looks to me like a beautiful summer breeze..........smiles dor:))

As always, Dee, a beautiful painting. I love how the viewer's eye is led into this serene and lovely setting.

Thank you Vicki.

Love this. You did a great job moving from warm greens to cool greens to pull us into the picture.

Thank you Li and Pauline...and yes, there's a little touch with a palette knife just on that flesh colour in the immediate foreground.

Oh! the green green grass of home, early summer the best time of year! This is a lovely painting Dee. Painted with so much confidence.  I love the flesh colour it leads your eye through all the variations starting with the warm light green through the lovely cool greens to the blues beyond! Is it painted using a pallet knife? I really like the way you have painted the leaves on the trees. nice one! P :)

Dee, another great piece of you!! I like  everything of it, especially the way you manipulate the paints and your brush strokes. Those details on the foreground are so well done prefesionally. Just beautiful, happy for you, Dee.
