Schoppen Riesling Schorle the standard drink over here. It's a 0.5 liter glass (Schoppen) filled with 2/3 Riesling and 1/3 sparkling water. Not everyone likes it, some prefer just Schoppen Riesling.

Thank you Colleen. I figured how important it is for me to keep things simple at this stage. Whenever i tried to paint more complex subjects the freshness was lost and i was frustrated. Frustration cannot be avoided but at least minimized.

Thomas your paintings always look fresh, clean and well thought out with the minimum of brush strokes. Excellent!

Yes, making a good arrangement is really challenging - I'm just beginning to paint still life; never used to like it but now am really enjoying it.  Lots to learn in this painting world; it's always interesting!

Jessica thanks! It is usually my greatest struggle to find what to paint and arrange it in a pleasing way.
Silvana thanks! Becoming a painter it is much about focus and discipline. That ended right after the painting :-)

Now, this is excellent! How come that glass is almost full in the plein air painting? Or did you have another one, which emptied in the painting process...?
