Pauline, Thanks!  by the way, I am so happy that you know llamas.  those animals can be llamas. But in my mind I was thinking of vicuña, as I painted a girl of Caramarca where there are no llamas, only vicuñas which are very valuable animals. Everything is in my mind, the viewers can not tell the differences, too small. 

About the light, I think that I did correct value contrast following Richard's teaching. But I also used picasa to lightened my photo of painting as it was too dark. My original painting does not have such a "fabulous light" though is similar.

In spite of the difficult month you have made a great effort and are very close to where you want this!! Good for you!! I know the wealthy farmer might not be pleased, but I'd desaturate the buildings a bit. Your eye knows exactly what you need to do to make this work!

YOUR BUILDINGS A BEAUTIFUL AND VIBRANT. Wealthy farmer has just given them a new paint job :) Loving the human input with the animals for interest Now for my liking a little more depth of color in the foreground so the eye can get past it into your lovely farm and buildings

Its going to be a goodie

Silvana, you are such a nice girl. Thank you. But I really think that you did a wonderful job for this workshop. In fact, I found that you always hand in you homework very early. And they are all very well done.
