Li, did you enter this one in late?  I don't remember seeing it when I went through to vote.  Of course, I love this one...as I love all of yours.  Your brushwork is so lively, the boat is charming with its touches of yellow sunlight on the mast and deck, and you really got that broken color idea in the water and on the boat sides.  Wonderful painting.

Ningning, glad you were able to find time to participate in the workshop & paint this beautiful boat!  You have done it expertly, with wonderful clear colour, excellent values & tones - and the colour in the water & the reflections are perfect.  Just a great job on this painting!

Dorian, Good, let them sleep while we play.  To copy Richard's work can learn how to interprate the scene to the painting and how to paint it out, the procedure.  In fact, it is not need to be very acurate as he painted. I am just detail oriented person. It costs the effeciency. If I paint for make a living, my family and I would died out long time ago. Lol.

I do the same thing as you Li, I copy, try to copy Richard!  I cannot do that as well as you and many others!  I am having fun!

Dorian, please do not do it. It is not my original, it is Richard's original idea and method. I just learned by coppying the way he paint. Good way to learn but not that good to call everybody to see it. When I paint something independently and you like it, please spread the word. I will kiss you for that.
