Dream on Dor.  It was colder there that Florida is now but not as cold as Las Vegas was for you last year.  All that snow will be there for awhile longer.  And Li is in the middle of Summer now.  After carefully looking at Michael's recent paintings, I have got to start painting warmer scenes that I don't say "brrrrhhhrrr" when I look at them.   Stu

OK TOO COLD FOR ME    WE DIDN'T HAVE  ONLY ABOUT TREE DUSTING THIS WINTER  REALLY DRY AND THE DUST WAS BLOWING  THE OTHER DAY    . We have 12 volcanic mts  near here  so have tons  of  snow capped  mts to paint and old barns and  neat streams   just not enough time to do it all . HO HUM

Hey you guys, that's not my cabin in the painting and it's pretty far up in the mountains. It is about 45 minutes east of the town of Sonora and maybe 1/2 of the way from Sonora to Sonora Pass which is about 10,000 feet and totally snowed in until almost Summer. Michael lives in Sonora and took me up painting there. I live near the coast in Marin County and we have some wonderful places to paint (and a lot of artists) and I would be happy to take anyone out painting who comes to visit. I hope to get up to Michael's place later this Spring and go up higher on the pass to paint or even meet him at Yosemite; he's about 2 hours away from Yosemite Valley and it takes me about 4 hours to get to there and 21/2 hours to get to his place. Thanks Stu  that would be so fun to get a group together some time    We are transitioning to  spring soon.    What town are you near in Ca   where that cabin is located ?

Dor you are invited as well.  Look at Michael's painting.  We were standing about 5 yards from each other and painting the same scene.  His painting looks warm and cozy!  Go figure.  He must have been feeling warmer than I was.  Stu

Solor Panels boy am I behind the times!   I  did not even notice the warmth of the sun,  I was just in awe over georgous  snow and stream!........... LOL  dor
