4 of the 10!!!! "studies" (= ones that went wrong ;( ) for that darn bridge. Wait, it's about rocks!? I think I'll find a different subject then - that bridge annoys me (and should not be the center of interest?!)

Thanks, Montalvo - I'm all over there ;D oh well. (kind of ya)
Hi Jon... great study for me. I like a little bit of this and a little bit of that in all your paintings. I can take from one and put it in another. You know what i mean? so. i vote for all of them and the effort you have made to post all four. I should have done that with mine. Anyway really enjoy seeing what your up to. Good job!
OK, good points, Michael - the bridge bugs me - I'll try it again if I have time - don't feel so motivated - if I do I'll do it one session, arghh!
I think the top left is very good!! It is just that the bridge leaves the canvas (and us) very quickly, dragging us with it!! ...I would straighten out that part a little, bring the headland up some more, and make that part of the bridge very soft, misty, and almost disappear as it leaves the canvas. Let our imagination fill in the rest of the bridge. You skies are just wonderful!!! Just looking at the bottom right photo ....that's pretty good also! ..Just enlarge the rock, make the headland on the right .a little higher, and really make the value of the bridge in the far distance almost the same value as the darks of your clouds ..that would push the bridge into the distant shore.
Thanks, Laura and Sivana. Silvana - don't worry - just go for it!
:D!!!! I am seriously thinking of not attempting the painting in which the bridge may lead me through such a harsh time...!!!!!
