My assignment on the Virtual Art Academy was to make the three secondary colors, orange, purple, green, and paint a picture. I used cad med. yellow, cad red deep, & ultramarine blue to make the secondary colors. I wonder what the painting would look like if I would have chosen different hues for my primaries.

Thanks Michael! I think alizarin would warm it up. The cad red and ultramarine tends to be more burgundy purple. Yes, I'll have to give it a try. Painting with 3 secondary colors is limiting...but they harmonize! Sarah, I'm glad you like my pumpkins! My granddaughters who live in Hawaii have never been to a pumpkin patch!
