Thanks Michael! I still don't know how I got the perspective line off because I traced the picture of a painting. Guess I can't read my own lines :) I rarely trace pictures now because I have developed more confidence from my practice of drawing shapes.
Linda, this is a very nice composition ...I like your gradation from dark to lighter on the path .excellent!! The ladder is a nice interest point, but does not make you stay because you kept it in the same value ..excellent! Everything is pointing to the focal point which is the house ..very nice. Your perspective line on the light side of the building need to go downhill toward the left side of the horizon line ...your house is tipping because of the error in perspective. I notice that you have the correct perspective in the small house. You have kept the proper value relationships very well in this painting Linda. ...Nice job. :))
