I've had this photograph for a while - boats at Queenscliff, a little coastal Village about an hour and a half from Melbourne . Oil on canvas 12 x 16 in. I'm not too happy with the angles of the boat on the right, found it rather difficult to read right but I liked the light and shade of the water and reflections - practice!!

thanks so much for your nice comments Jim, very much appreciated.
Wow! This shows something that you do so well (in particular and among your peers): you create wonderful depth by bringing into focus the main elements -- leaving the rest blurred just the right amount.
thanks Jon and Siobhan, appreciate your comments :)
Yep, I really like this one a lot Glenys. Your color and brushwork are always lovely, the only reasons I can think of for 'liking' (admiring) some of your works a 'bit less' is the composition - but that could well be, of course, just my (own peculiar personal ;D) 'taste'! The compo of this one seems good to me - especially the NOTAN!
thanks so much everyone for your lovely encouraging comments. Much appreciated.
Excellent, Glenys! Nice and loose, great value, color, and your water just dances ( = Love it!
Beautiful brushwork
