Hi all,

This is my first painting on this online workshop. Because of all kinds of circumstances, I am not being able to do this also in colour. Also, I have no more space at my disposal to achieve a modest setup as is described in instruction video. I got my inspiration from a legally downloaded photo.
I used Golden Open acrylic paint which is new for me. With regard to the definition of the right value I also encountered difficulties with the darkening of the paint after drying. Also have great difficulty with a good or attractive brush stroke. I think this is a matter of experience and that it should evolve. So am jealous of artists who can drop something meaningful on the canvas with a couple brush strokes, as for example Richard Robinson does or do!
Anyway, I have done my best despite the little time at my disposal.

Titel: Two Pears, Golden Open Acryl on Fabriano Acrylic Paper 400 gr/m2, 30x40cm

Kind regards,

Henk Cramer

This is a wonderful painting. And what an amazing glowing effect even though it is monochrome. Bravo!

well done Hank! You used value shifts quite well to turn the form on the pears!

Beautiful work Henk. You've got a great eye for detail there.
