Jessica, many thanks. I am curious that if I painted this only with the photo that Richard showed us, what it would look like. You created your own beautiful painting from the very beginning of composition, and very well done with the flavour of Middle East. That is what I should do to practise what I learned here.

The challenge was to see how the "glow" affects the land going forward. I would say to brought that glow all the way and did it well. Very nice color work, love the loose brush work. Nice job, Ningning.

 Jen, Thank you so much for your encouragement and generous words.  I am very pleased with this one after read your compliment.  I was struggling to finish it and still have some errors to be fixed.  I hope that one day, without Richard's help I can create same beautiful scene.

Ningning, Gorgeous. Love the glow coming thru and the shadow from that glow down onto the beach. You should be very pleased with this one. Congrats.
