Comment by Ethan Insley on April 8, 2012 at 13:38: I've been painting about a year but have only been able to put out four paintings since starting, kids and family keep me from actually getting a good paint session in. I've had no art instruction just what i pick up from reading books and trial and error.

It is so interesting when you realize that we are all on the same path just at different points along the way. I really like your bold use of color. When I started, I only worked in pencil and charcoal because I loved, and still do, drawing. Now I have trouble loosening up because of all those right drawings I did for years. Anyway, it is all good, don't you think? Happy painting.
