This charming Citroen was patiently awaiting its owners, tucked into the shade of the bushes. Love the character & personality of these quaint cars! The reflections in the windows were a good place to try to apply the broken colour technique of this workshop.

It's quite a difficult subject actually, it seems to me - and you've achieved the balance required to pull it off, Jessica.
Yes we call them Ducks as you wrote. How nice your son is getting married here and will ride in one of the Ducks. Also my sister did it on her weddingday with a lot of Ducks behind theirs. It was lovely to see. They will love your painting, it is beautiful.
Thank you Anja! I believe these cars are called "ducks" in the Netherlands? One of my sons is soon getting married in Holland and they will ride to the ceremony in one of these cars! Maybe I will give them this painting, if they like it!
Love it, my first car was a yellow one. Great painting you made of this one.
Thanks for your lovely comment, Nancy!
Thank you very much, Steinunn & Marianne!
I like how you've done the tree and the reflections in the car. Very nice!
What a lovely old car, great colors!
Thanks very much, Donna! I'm sure you'll come up with something special!
