Oil 9 X 12 painted from a photo of the shore on the windward side of Oahu, HI. The sand is so white and fine at this spot that the sand would sting you if it the wind was blowing. Always amazed when I see a wooded area so close to the ocean. I liked the contrast of the dark trees against the white sand.

Thanks Michael! I'm still painting everyday I can....lots of small studies. I joined the virtual artist and enjoy the program so far. My friends like your paintings that I now own! Hope all is well with you and Cindy.

I like those contrasts also Linda!!    Be careful that you don't abruptly stop the sand against that tree ...extend it past the tree a little.
