I know that I added a comment describing my approach but it seems to have disappeared. This is my 8x10 study. In addition to the colour pallet suggested by Richard, I substituted Flake white for warmth and Zinc white in the cool areas of the painting,  Hmmm.  now I wonder where my original comments are...
