Thank your for the lovely comment on my painting, The Fall Stream.Agree, what I feel comfortable with is realism.
Thank you Silke for your lovely comment on my eagle painting.
Hello Silke, I just now have "discovered" your art.
You were born with a body and soul of an Artist. I am in awe.
Silke - you are very good, just love your pentangle stuff!
Yes, just waiting for 15x30" canvas to come. I have a pic I want to do but am still thinking about the placement of all the flowers and adjusting in Photoshop. So this is not the final that I will use as a reference just yet. My challenge for this one is to lead the eye through the painting and have the viewer look where I want them to look. ha ha
So far I have a "O" composition started............have not completely decided where the center of interest is going to be though........more thinking. lol![](http://storage.ning.com/topology/rest/1.0/file/get/2767610037?profile=RESIZE_1024x1024)
Seriously, You have those red parrot tulips in your garden? Oh my,,,,,,,,,to dream of such things just blows me away. I am pretty sure this photographer, who I contacted and is a professor of plants in some college in England, got the photo and completely turned the background black! I can tell bc I noticed a slight glow of lighter color around all the edge. Perhaps try early morning light or late evening light and a tripod and pray for no wind to make the flower move. LOL //// I should have all the ingredients for the slow dry med and new 15x30" canvases very soon. I am excited to try the Carder method......going to do a landscape though. I have some 8x10" canvases on order as well for more flower paintings. Just have to decide which one.
